The Golden Visa is a 10-year renewable residence permit (5-year for some categories) introduced in 2019 and expanded in 2022. Unlike standard employment visas, it does not require an employer sponsor.

- Specialised talent: doctors, scientists, engineers with a monthly salary ≥ AED 30,000 and a valid contract.
- Investors: AED 2M+ in property or business capital.
- Entrepreneurs: approved by an accredited business incubator.
